ISTC im00096000. – Second edition of the "Liber de priscorum proprietate verborum" ("Book on the Old Word Meanings"), the first in Treviso, printed by the Neapolitan humanist Giuniano Maio (Junius Maius; c. 1430-1493), one of the most important disciples of Lorenzo Valla. He wrote the dictionary consulted on the whole Renaissance epoch as a comprehensive lexicon of the humanism of the ancient Latin language, which was printed in Naples shortly before the present edition in 1475. – Four pages are missing: a1, a3, a8 and a10. The last sheet ll10 is bound to the beginning, a2, a4-7 and a9 with larger, newly added cracks (partly with greater text loss), some leaves changed, tanned and with traces of usage, here and there damp spots.
