The beautiful woodcut on the title verso shows a monk in his study room. – The unpagined final sheet with the second printer brand of Marchant fails. Title with small digit signature, the title line in Sepia underlined. At the end with brown spot in the bow, the end leaf with a small hole in the sentence mirror (low text loss). Front inner joint reinforced with linen stripe after the forelegs. Otherwise well preserved.
