This copy was published in the same year as the work of Gerard Jollain "La sainte Bible". In addition, the two works differ in individual details and modes of representation of the panels. The impressive engravings, which represent the Bible scenically, each have an explanatory Latin and French text. Antoine Humblot (1620-1758) was a copper engraver, publisher and art dealer. He married Anne-Claude Jollain, who came from the artists' families Jollan. No further specimen of us could be found from the Office of Humblot. – Front internal joint opened.
