Top with title cartouche in verse "S. MARIA LAVRETA". Is South Germany (Franken?) early 18. ==References== Holy Mother of God Mary sits on clouds with the blessing boy Jesus, firmly held by beautiful angelic children: they lift the house of Mary's birth over the sea into the clouds that stood in Nazareth. With the siege of Akkon, the last Christian fortress in the Holy Land, Nazareth also fell to the Mamluks, with which the era of the Crusades was finally over. In order to preserve the house, according to legend, there was an angelic shaar on the 10th century. It is located in the town of Loreto, Italy, where pilgrimages to Santa Casa take place until today. The legend of the house transport is depicted here very powerfully, surrounded by an oval baroque frame with many expiring, ornamental silver ore.
