After his own preliminary drawings, he produced "victory sites of the battle of nations" (2 booklets; 1814 and 1815) as well as "Leipzig und seine Umgebung" (4 issues 1823ff). Wagner dedicates a large part of the plates (No. 1-16) of plant studies to the trees (No.1-11).
