Jacob de Wilde (1645-1721), a Dutch historian, numismatist and archaeologist, is best known as a collector of coins, medals, antique statues and scientific instruments. His extensive collection was housed in a museum, the Wildeanum Museum, specially built behind his home in the Amsterdam Keizersgracht. The panels show objects and sculptures from the collection. – Slightly flaky, block popped several times, thereby loosening or untied several layers.
