==References====External links== In the 15th century scenes from the childhood of Christ (four panels) were painted on wood; framed 105 x 114,5 cm each. The collection of Count Adelmann's paintings was made in 15th Century. ==References====External links== These are the proclamation to Mary, the birth of Christ, the adoration of the Three Kings and the flight to Egypt. The panels form a coherent cycle from the life of Mary and Christ and give an impressive insight into the religious imagery of the late medieval southern German panel painting. The selection of the scenes follows an image program that is characteristic of the worship and altarpiece art of this time and connects central stations of the history of salvation with the life of Mary. The large format of the panels is particularly remarkable. The monumental arrangement of the compositions suggests an original function within a larger sacred context. Panel images of this dimension were not only carriers of religious representation; their image effect and their design, calculated on a distance view, significantly shaped the appearance of late medieval church and altar rooms. Stylistically, the panels are in the tradition of southern German painting of the 15th century. ==References== Characteristic are a clear, concise narrative and a conscious reduction of the image spaces, which directs the view of the figures and the image happening. The scenes unfold their effect through an immediately legible imagery and a differently designed, always restrained spatial conception. The Annunciation is located in an interior that opens the view of a wide hill and mountain landscape through a window. Mary is in the right part of the picture; her body is turned away from the angel, while she turns her head to him with a lowered gaze. In the birth of Christ, the figures are gathered under a simple architecture in the foreground, which at the same time separates them from the wide landscape in the background. The worship of the Three Kings, on the other hand, dispenses with the usual embedding of the figures in architecture and landscape: behind the kings lies a gold ground, behind the Holy Family a green ground, and only the ground conveys a spatial appearance. The flight to Egypt finally shows a simple, hilly landscape. As a four-part episode, the paintings are a remarkable testimony to late medieval religious and pictorial culture. The large format and concentration on central episodes of Christ's childhood give the ensemble a special monumental presence and make it an impressive example of southern German panel painting of the 15th century. ==References====External links==* Official website* Official website of the United States of America* Official Website* Official site* Official web site* National website* International website* National web site href="https://imkinsky.com/zusaetze-zu- unserer-geschäftsordnung">Additions to our Rules of Procedure / Additionsto our Rulesof Procedure< /a>
