[dated to the colophon April 8, 1488] Copy from studio but enriched by elegant capilettera of the Trionfi of Petrarch accompanied by comments by Bernardo Lapini from Siena, Francesco Filelfo and Girolamo Squarzafico, among the most authoritative humanistic interpreters of the Petrarch opera. Curiously the colophon of this first part carries by typographic error the date April 8, 1488 while the edition is agreedly assigned to 1486. 4to (278 x 200mm). First part (of 2, missing the second autonomous containing the Canzoniere) Maps 139 (of 152, missing the cards A-A3 containing the prologue, the cards H2 and H7 and the cards M3-N2). 5 elegantly illuminated cape in gold and colors, different illuminated letters in gold or blue (restauri with integrations at the lower edge of some cards at the beginning of the volume). Modern binding in full parchment, the ancient ligature is preserved. Origin: Molza, Modena. (1)
