Interesting collection of five engravings shared by the theme of the veneration of relics and miraculous imagesThe lot includes: a rare depiction of the Cross of Caravaca, accompanied by an indulgential prayer in Spanish and the representation of the Blessed Sacrament (270 × 220 mm); the Most Holy Sudarium of Christ, supported by three bishops and dedicated to Henri de Bourgnay (280 × 350 mm); the Miraculous Christ of San Quilino at the collegiate church of San Lorenzo Maggiore in Milan, dedicated to the prevosto Giovanni Ambrogio Turriano (268 × 150 mm); Santi Rasio and Anastasio, depicted in front of the Roman basilica of Santa Maria ad Martyres (Pantheon), with ample text on their relics (313 × 220 mm); and finally a suggestive engraving depicting the body of Saint Francis of Assisi exhibited in the lower basilica, with coat of arms of the dedicator Marcello Rondinino (340 × 245 mm).
