Lot of two attestations on parchment elegantly decorated. Ferrara, 1700 and 18th century. Curious lot composed of two official documents on parchment related to the extended administration in the State of Ferrara. The first is a certificate of service issued to the Bresciani brothers, employed at the court of Cardinal Fulvio Astalli, resident in the Castle of Ferrara, dated April 6, 1700. The second is a rare official form that has not been completed, intended for the assignment of posts in the States of Ferrara, embellished by an elegant miniature coat of arms of the Dukes of Este of Modena and Reggio, executed in tempera and gold, and already signed by Commissioner Marcantonio Gavardi and Chancellor Felice Consiglieri, to testify to the administrative practice of the time. First document: 240 × 325 mm, small marginal shortcomings. Second document: 305 × 405 mm, richly decorated with tempera and gold. (2)
