Refined small burin by Hans Sebald Beham, depicting a coat of arms with spread wings eagle, surmounted by a helmet crowned with cemetery composed of a large feather and horns of ibex, within a thick ornamental interweaving of leaves and volutes. At the top runs the paper with the motto "WER MICH WILL HON - DER NEM MICH ON"; monogram HSB and date 1543. A particularly representative example of Beham's small format production, one of the leading representatives of the so-called German Kleinmeisters. Bully on wired paper (72 × 50mm) about at the bar.
