Interesting nucleus of literary autographs including a long poetic composition addressed by Pagès du Tarn to Alphonse de Lamartine and the signed autograph letter with which the French poet responds to his author. The composition, titled "M. de Lamartine" and signed "Pagès du Tarn" celebrates the poet with accents of romantic sensibility. In his reply, Lamartine stated that he had read the verses "avec un vif intérêt" and, while shielding himself from the praises received, he recognized feelings born from "une imagination véritablement inspirée" and applauded "sans réserve à la forme poétique" . It concludes with "mes commerces et mes félicitations" and "Lamartine" signature. A note of coeva or of little posterior, "Avec les vers autographes de M. Pagès du Tarn dont il est question dans cette lettre" confirms the direct relationship between the two documents.
